PARTICIPATION RISKS
I understand that Taekwondo and physical training involves risks that may arise even when appropriate rules, instruction, supervision, and safety precautions are followed. Risks may include, but are not limited to:
• accidental contact with another participant, instructor, coach, training partner, or equipment;
• being struck by kicks, punches, blocks, or other techniques during drills or sparring;
• falls, slips, trips, loss of balance, or collisions;
• incorrect or awkward landings;
• rapid movement, jumping, kicking, pivoting, twisting, or sudden changes in direction;
• physical exertion, fatigue, overexertion, dehydration, or heat-related illness;
• strains, sprains, bruises, abrasions, cuts, swelling, and muscle soreness;
• injuries to muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints, bones, fingers, toes, hands, feet, knees, shoulders, or other parts of the body;
• fractures or dislocations;
• dental, facial, nose, or eye injuries;
