PARTICIPATION RISKS
I understand that participation in Taekwondo and physical training involves risks that may arise even when appropriate rules, instruction, supervision, and safety precautions are followed. Risks may include, but are not limited to:
• accidental contact with another participant, instructor, coach, training partner, or equipment;
• being struck by kicks, punches, blocks, or other techniques during drills or sparring;
• falls, slips, trips, loss of balance, or collisions;
• incorrect or awkward landings;
• rapid movement, jumping, kicking, pivoting, twisting, or sudden changes in direction;
• physical exertion, fatigue, overexertion, dehydration, or heat-related illness;
• strains, sprains, bruises, abrasions, cuts, swelling, and muscle soreness;
• injuries to muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints, bones, fingers, toes, hands, feet, knees, shoulders, or other parts of the body;
• fractures or dislocations;
• dental, facial, nose, or eye injuries;
